Considering that the hair shaft is composed of layers of keratin, I can see where something like this would work fairly well. Of course, most people in our post-industrial society shampoo their hair far too often to begin with. Our hair produces oil for good reason, namely to keep it strong and healthy. If we wash it out in the name of cleanliness and never replace the oil, hair becomes dry and brittle without fail…..
